I don't know - I've never tried it myself.

But it should be the same as for any Cortex-M4 ...

Does what I want to do have a name? I don't know how to ask a search engine about that

On the nrf52840, 256kB seems not that limited. Anyway, executing external code from ram/flash is not my main concern, the real question is how to create that code

Yes, it should be possible.

But remember that the amount of RAM is really quite limited...
