Hi,

See this document on antenna tuning. We can also help with this if you send the PCB to us.

A printed antenna is always preferred over a ceramic chip antenna provided you have space enough to accomodate it. They are generally better, easier/cheaper(less components) to tune and no extra BOM cost for the antenna itself.

what should i do for antenna tuning?

Should i apply silk screen over antenna feed?

Is my design will be best if i use Johnson ceramic antenna and matching chip.

kindly suggest me how to proceed.

Hi,

The design looks good. Usually you can get a little better harmonics by grounding C28 to the center pad through pin 31, instead of to the ground pour. You might also want to add a shunt component(DNP at this time) near the antenna feed in case the antenna requires tuning.

i have another design which is exact copy of sparkfun design.if you flag up i will go for pcb printing withadding up some component.

if you need any other file please let me know.
