Are you using a nRF52840 DK or is this a custom board with a nRF52840 on it that you are programming with a JLink Programmer or using a nRF52xxx DK?

nRFGo Studio is deprecated for the nRF52 Series. You need to use nRF Connect Programmer or nrfjprog from the nRF5x Command Line Tools to flash the SoftDevice.
