If you're using Segger Embedded Studio (SES) to write your code, you can download straight from the IDE.

Similarly with other IDEs which expect to use a JTAG/SWD debugger.

Hi,

I finally found a solution. Nrf Connect is totally able to send HEX files through the nRF52 DK, that's works fine. You have to send the HEX file of your program and the HEX file of the softdevice.

If, like me, you programmed the Sparkfun Breakout Board with Arduino, you can use the HEX file genereted during the compilation.

There is no information or tutorial about this on the internet, so maybe I will write a one. There is no information about nrf connect programmer. The worst is there is no information on the Nordic's website about the fact that Nrf Go Studio is outdatted (I passed 3 days on this soft for nothing). I don't thing all this is normal.

Ok so I just want to know one thing, how I can flash my breakout board through my nrf52dk board ? I saw this is possible on the sparkfun tutorial, but never explained, and I am a bit lost.

I've already made a little program with the SDK, and I want to flash it into my breakout board.

Hi,

The nRF Connect SDK is meant to be used with the nRF9160 LTE chip. Development on the nRF52 series is currently not supported and you should use this SDK instead: https://www.nordicsemi.com/Software-and-Tools/Software/nRF5-SDK

Have you tried to program any samples code to the 52DK to verify that your setup is working?

Yes I followed this tutorial. At the end they show how to connect the nRF52 DK to the breakout board, this is what i did. I don't understand how I can send my HEX files to the breakout board through the DK, with nRF Connect.

When I speak about Github, I am reffering to the software nRF Connect and his "Getting started assistant" application.

For the Github repository just download the zip file in the first page and use nrfgo studio to flash the bootloader.

Update : After changing my USB cable, nRF Connect recognize something (an address and the COM port), but it doesn't recognize the nRF52 DK. What is my mistake ?
