I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong so I'm hoping someone can help me. After updating from 0.11.4 to 0.12.0 of pc-ble-python-py, I get the following error. I've tried this on both Python 2.7 and Python 3.7.3 with the same result.
If you install pc-ble-driver-py to clean environment it won't work until you replace nrf-ble-driver-sd_api_v5-mt-gd-4_1_1.dll file from here: https://github.com/NordicSemiconductor/pc-ble-driver/releases/tag/v4.1.1

And note that you have to use right zip depends on which python (32/64) you are using + dll filename need to be renamed to match the original dll filename..

May be that virtualenv just pop ups this issue because it changes PATH's and library probably recognise dll first from inside package, not from external source where it might be when using/installing globally, and package dll is not correct one causing failure above..etc..

-> Anyway, this is really an bug in package which should be fixed asap. Currently this causes workaround to get library working.

RE: pc-ble-python-py v0.12.0

Hi, I'm not really sure what happens. It seems to be working fine here. It could be an idea to use virtualenv for your python projects so you don't have to update/install packages to the system installation of python. By using virtualenv the python packages will be installed in the project directory not system wide. You should try out this, In case there are some conflicting packages or missing dependencies or something.
