The link I provided had a few suggestions to Bluetooth sniffers both that worked with BLE5 devices and not.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Even though your phone supports BLE5, you don&amp;#39;t have to use BLE5 specific features when using it. The nRFSniffer should be able to detect any non-BLE5 specific packets (that is, anything that isn&amp;#39;t long range or 2Mbps PHY).&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The nRF Sniffer is compatible with the nRF52840 DK but does not yet support BLE5 packet sniffing. For a Bluetooth 5 packet sniffer, I would suggest having a look at this &lt;a href="https://www.novelbits.io/bluetooth-low-energy-sniffer-tutorial/"&gt;Sniffer tutorial.&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
