There is no native support for this in iOS. That said, the peripheral should get displayed in Bluetooth settings if you include "BLE appearance" in the advertisement packet.

RE: Why cannot we see the dev. kit from Bluetooth in the phone?

hi, thanks. we are a little concerned about not seeing it under Bluetooth settings, because we are planning to use a bluetooth gateway later instead of the "nRF Cloud Gateway" app on the phone, so we are unsure in that case whether the real gateway can 'see' the node.

RE: Why cannot we see the dev. kit from Bluetooth in the phone?

Hi,

Yes, we have programmed the kits with the suitable firmware according to the manual. We use the mobile app "nRF Cloud Gateway" and it is possible to see it inside the app, but when we try to find the device under the "Bluetooth" setting of the iPhone (i.e., not inside the app), it is not found. We have used putty and the kit is advertising.

RE: Why cannot we see the dev. kit from Bluetooth in the phone?
we have several nRF 52 development kit
