To flash it to your dongle, follow these steps:

Plug your dongle.

Open Master Control Panel.

Go to File, Flash programming.

Browse to the 0.9.0 firmware hex file.

Select "Program".

You may have to replug the dongle and restart MCP afterwards to make things work.

There will be a new release of the Master Control Panel most likely next week that will include this file. The release will be done as soon as testing of the new Master Control Panel is finished, but we wanted to share this firmware now, since we know some of you are waiting eagerly for it.

I bought the evaluation kit last week, started using it yesterday, and got stuck due to master emulator not responding. I have an nRF51822 chip with the FA build code. My boss is upset with me (because I suggested going the nRF51822 route rather than the TI2540 route), and he wants to know when this issue will be resolved. Can you give me: 1) estimated time for Nordic to have a fix available, 2) a method whereby I will know that a fix is available, 3) any kind of work-around such as an older hex file that works. Thanks.

RE: flash programming PCA10000 using Master Control Panel

Hi,

Unfortunately, we have an issue with the MasterControlPanel firmware v0.8 (MEFW_nRF51822_0.8.0_firmware.hex) and compatibility with our new silicon revision FA. We just discovered this issue this week.
We are working on a fix, but I cannot say when it's coming out, as the time schedule is not ready yet.

If you are registered on our main website, you should receive an e-mail when the MasterControlPanel is updated.

To see if you are affected by this bug, please check that the nRF-device markings match the build code FA :
