Ok, thx! you don't have a ballpark number on when they will have an HTTPS example (weeks, months, ..)?

TLS is implemented in the modem. I have used it successfully underneath the MQTT library. My comment was that they have not yet provided an example tying it together w/ HTTP(S).

Not the answer I was hoping for, but thank you anyway! So, am I right, that the TLS layer is not yet implemented on the nRF91? If I read your documentation correctly the TLS layer would be in the modem firmware right?

It sounds promising that they want to implement HTTPS on in the firmware updater libs. Do you have a timeline when the TLS feature will be available? I consider this quite an important topic for an IoT product.

I don't have an answer to help you, but as a heads-up they just merged in a substantial re-write of the HTTP firmware updater libraries:

I was following along the discussion over there. They were commenting that HTTPS is on their to-do list but not yet implemented.
