I am using mechanical QDEC which doesn't have LED and simply A and B pins. After going through forum I set the QDEC confguration as follows.

Then changed function in nrfx_qdec.c

Now I am getting values only if encoder is moving very slow

RE: QDEC doesn't sample fast signals

Hi Ali

Good to hear it's working better 🙂

Could you try flipping the input assignments?
Then I assume the direction should be inverted.
reduce the sample period
Thank you for pointing it out, it is working fine now.

Can you please let me know about about direction issue? I am geting opposite direction i.e. negative while movement is forward and viceversa.

Have you tried to reduce the sample period?

If the sample period is as high as 8192us it is much too slow to sample your signal, if the frequency can go up to 2560Hz.
