I am using PCA10040 in order to develop nrf52 firmware. For now I would like to try to measure current consumption.
Is there any couple of pins on the board I can use to connect a multimeter or related device to briefly measure current consumption

RE: PCA10040 - any pins to measure current consumption of the SOC?

If it's resolved your issue, please verify the answer:

Note that a multimeter is not a very effective tool for this - because of the very "peaky" nature of the current.

Take a look at the Power Profiler Kit:

Other tools are available; eg,

The image above was acquired using a current-sense amplifier and an oscilloscope.
