The invalid argument comes from not having a space between --log and --reset. I've not yet found what the nRFConnect error is caused by, but please try the command line again in the meantime.

Hi Simon,

I have now powered the dongle from an external source (cutting SB2 and soldering SB1). NrfConnect seems a little happier now, but it still will not read or write the decive correctly....comes back with 'Error when getting info: ErrorCode: CouldNotCallFunction (0x9) Lowelevel error: JLINKARM_DLL_ERROR (fffff9a)

If I try to use the command line tool it says that an invalid argument has been used:

Hi Simon

I have installed the latest version of JLink and that seemed to get rid of the connection error when using nRFConnect.

It will however not let me program the part.... it just sit there trying to discover the connected device (all of the buttons on the right hand side are not enabled - highlighted):

If I try the command line tool it gives me less errors, but it still will not program the part:

That's odd. Could you try flashing it using the nRFConnect for Desktop Programmer app? Maybe you get any more information in the output there.

The nrfjprog command seems to throw an error (I have shortened the name of the hex file to make typing quicker)

Note: I can use nrfjprog --help withot any problem

Other simple nrfjprog commands seem to fail also

It seems like this file doesn't work building directly on Segger, we just use this command:

nrfjprog -e && nrfjprog graviton_bootloader_mbr_v1.0.1-[nRF5_SDK_15.0.1-1.alpha_f76d012].hex --reset

This should work as long as you have the nrfjprog command line tool installed.

If you still run into problems, try going through the "Recover after an accidental UICR erase" instructions as well.

I tried to install the hex file from the link graviton_(bootloader_mbr_v1.0.1-[nRF5_SDK_15.0.1-1.alpha_f76d012].hex) using the JTAG programmer within segger studio and I get the following error message:

Do you have any suggestions to load the hex file without error?
