Thank you for your response.

I went into {user}/AppData and removed everything that has *nrf*connect in the name. And was able to perform the installation of 2.7.0 and upgrade the applications.

With removing the evidence, I killed the ability to go back and root cause the issue. I am sure there was a configuration file that had an incorrect or old value.

I experienced this same issue after upgrading to 2.7.0 (on Ubuntu 18.04). It was resolved by upgrading the Bluetooth Low Energy app from v2.2.0 to v2.2.1

Hi,

Could you open nRF Connect? What is the version now, v2.6.2 or v2.7.0?

Click Add/remove apps to install apps or update existing apps.

v2.7.0 needs J-link v6.44e. Please check and update the J-link firmware version.

Or you can uninstall and revert back to stable v2.6.0.
