Yes, unfortunately both master and v1.0.0-rc2 are not stable. I see 2 options, either use v0.4.0 tag and add the fix from the mentioned PR to that tag, Or wait for v1.0.0 release.

Hi, I have now done a quick test with v1.0.0-rc2, and it is even less stable. Resetting the dk, it takes some time to connect, and then after approx 16 samples terminates with Hard fault.

Second test fails in the same way after 19 points.

Third test fails silently. No error in console, but no data received in web app.

Can you confirm that you see this behaviour also?

It was the same problem. Solution was to build and flash spm separately before building and flashing asset_tracker *without* spm.

I am checking now if the stability has improved with 1.0.0-rc2

Please test with the v1.0.0-rc2 tag. Also make sure that you are using the latest modem firmware.

Hi,

i tried checking out the master in a separate / new directory.

When compiling I get an error:

multiple definition of 'z_abort_timeout'

Am I using the wrong version of a repository? Or have I failed to configure the project correctly?

this issue looks like a problem which was recently fixed in https://github.com/NordicPlayground/fw-nrfconnect-nrf/pull/803/commits/208c48d5d7eabb55dd210441b90746ad26c1229e

Can you try again with the latest master of https://github.com/NordicPlayground/fw-nrfconnect-nrf ?
