&lt;p&gt;Yes&amp;nbsp;&lt;code&gt;CONFIG_SERIAL=n&lt;/code&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;in&amp;nbsp;SPM&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;strong&gt;prj.conf&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/strong&gt;was the solution, I&amp;#39;m now at about 7uA!!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Have you ensured that the samples/nrf9160/spm/prj.conf file includes &amp;quot;CONFIG_SERIAL=n&amp;quot; ? If not, it will keep the UART running, thus raising the sleep current consumption.&lt;/p&gt;
