I am trying OTA DFU on nrf52840 over BLE using segger. Is there any example code with proper libraries? Because I'm getting an error message: ant_error.h: No such file or directory and could not find any such file in the whole project.

Hi,

No, not at all. ANT is a protocol used for the same sports tracking equipment. It is not in any way required or useful if you are not making an ANT product (which you are clearly not).

Please forget about ANT, and look at the links from my initial answer, which will explain all the details of BLE DFU.

Okay.
So I want OTA DFU examples for SEGGER Embedded Studios. I am using nrf52832 and nrf52840.
So for that ANT is required?

Hi,

Why are you using ANT related examples? In your question, you state that you use BLE. Can you clarify if you intend to use BLE, ANT or both? If you don't use ANT, then you should not use any of ANT related documentation or code. And if you use ANT, then you must have the ANT compatible SoftDevice, which you can only get from Dynastream (thisisant.com).

Hi,

I went through the "Step by step guide" that you suggested. In "Running examples that use a SoftDevice" -> "Running ANT examples", Nordic has mentioned that "ANT SoftDevices for the nRF52 Series are not distributed by Nordic Semiconductor. You can download them from thisisant.com.". But, there I still haven't received any activation mail from them. Hence I'm unable to download the stack. Can you provide any link from where I can download the stack?

Hi,

The nRF5 SDK comes with example bootloader projects and documentation. I suggest you start with Getting started with Nordic's Secure DFU bootloader, a step by step guide if you need a gentle hands-on introduction. You can find more formation int the documentation for the bootloader modules and DFU bootloader examples.
