&lt;p&gt;You will find the changes/improvements between second and third revision nRF51 hardware in &lt;a href="https://www.nordicsemi.com/eng/nordic/Products/nRF51822/PCN-092/38893"&gt;PCN_092 document&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The main difference in term of current consumption is lower CPU consumption and that the DCDC is enabled again with the softdevice. Conversion factor for the DCDC is shown in nRF51822 PS v3.1 figure 11.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Note that the DCDC only decreases the current consumption of the radio peripheral. This means you will not see any improvement in current consumption with third revision if you do not use the radio in your application.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
