&lt;p&gt;Note that the NFC function has to be specifically disabled if you want to use the NFC pins as GPIO:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I am guessing you are using the nrf52-dk&amp;nbsp;and thus you won&amp;#39;t be able to use Pin 8 and Pin 9 as they are already is use by UART and NFC. Take a look at the Development Kit&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/pdf/nRF52_DK_User_Guide_v1.3.pdf"&gt;User Guide&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;(page 16).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
