I'm trying to work on my MacBook Air on BLE. I'm running Windows 7 under VirtualBox and using the new Keil µVision5.
But my problem is that whether the nRF51822-EK nor the nRF51422-EK is detected on Mac OS X 10.10.1 Yosemite.
Other alternative low cost Jtag probe is the IDAP-Link which I am developing . It's CMSIS-DAP based. Supports drag & drop and mBed(ing) your board. The hardware is working. I'm working the software now. Currently able to debug nRF51 with it on OS X using OpenOCD and Eclipse. On my Mac I have Parallels running (also with Win7) and it also doesn't work anymore and this definitely worked before. I programmed this way all the last months.

I did not update Parallels, I did not update the segger drivers. The only thing I updated was Yosemite 10.10.0 to 10.10.1 and now the evaluation kits won't get recognized anymore. And if they don't get recognized in the Mac OS X they won't be available in the virtual machine.

UPDATE:
I solved it! It was the USB-cable. Once I changed that everything works!
Thanks for everyone involved!

RE: nRf51822-EK and nRF51422-EK not being recognized in Yosemite

I'm not a Mac user, but this might be helpful to you.
