I am using nRF52832 DK PCA10040 v1.2.4, SDK_15.3.0, S132 SoftDevice and Segger for flashing the image. I am using ‘ble_app_blinky’.

What for this macro HWFC defined in pca10040.h. I could not find HWFC being used any ware. Is this UART

RE: nRF52832 UART flow control

Thank you for confirmation.

RE: nRF52832 UART flow control

Hi,

Yes, HWFC is the UART flow control (CTS, RTS) support in hardware. The HWFC macro is set to enable the Hardware Flow Control, and it is not used in the BLE Blinky Application. Therefore, it could be set to 0.

To my understanding flow control is disabled by seeing the macro UART_DEFAULT_CONFIG_HWFC to 0.
