 I am trying to program a chip using an st-link v2 connector. 
 The chip is nrf52832.

&lt;p&gt;You should be able to program the SoftDevice separately with an ST-Link, but the tool to combine the two is &lt;strong&gt;mergehex&lt;/strong&gt;:&lt;/p&gt;
