&lt;p&gt;Have you been able to make any progress on your own? I have some concerns with your description of this design. You posted &lt;em&gt;&amp;quot;we just took out swdio ,swdclk,vcc and gnd from the ic on the pcb so that we can use swdio and swdclk for programming&amp;quot;.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/em&gt;Does this mean that you&amp;#39;ve not connected the chip to anything but these pins? You have to, at the very least, connect the decoupling capacitors and the external HF clock according to the reference layout posted by Øyvind in order to make the chip run properly.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;d prefer that you uploaded either your PCB layout or the schematics (or both) of the nRF52810 target chip you&amp;#39;re describing.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Moreover, I also took out swdio and swdclk pins from the sparkfun board and connected it to the jlink but still vref was 0 v in j link commander and I made proper connections.&lt;/p&gt;

Remember, the JLink 20 Pin connector does not power your device, it only sets the correct voltage reference internally. Can you please provide a line drawing of how the green and the red board is connected to each other and the JLink? Please indicate on the image what the green board is and what the red board is?
