Your Right , it turned out to be my project output folder and env variables.. I deleted the output folder and reset all env to default.

nRF51 is not supported in SDK v15.3.0!

IIRC, the last SDK to support nRF51 was v12.3.0

Nordic were not using Segger Embedded Studio (SES) back then - so, if you want to use it, you will have to configure it all yourself from scratch.

With nRF51 and the old SDK, you could do simple projects in the free version of Keil ...

Hi,

Which version of Segger do you use? For nRF5SDK, you should use the Segger download from SEGGER downloads.

If you follow the instructions in Installing SEGGER tools, you do not need to change it. At least, it's for SEGGER V4.12.

The link you found is for nrf91 project. The Segger setting is different to nRF5_SDK_15.3.0_59ac345.

Could you try SEGGER V4.12 from SEGGER downloads? Please let me know it can help you or not.

I finally found the exe file and installed it as you instructed.

How do i tell Segger to use the new tool chain? I changed the toolchain in Segger and now i get an error :-

Error starting process C:/Program Files (x86)/GNU Tools Arm Embedded/7 2018-q2-update/arm-none-eabi/bin/cc1

Hi Nadeem,

Run the installer (gcc-arm-none-eabi-*-yyyymmdd-win32.exe) and follow the instructions. In the last step, it will ask you to add to the environment variables or not. Please press "Yes".

You also can check it is in your env. path. The default install directory is C:\Program Files (x86)\GnuWin32\bin
