From what I've tried, the WDT can be configured in SPM but must be enabled by the application.

Ah, awesome. Thanks for that, the test application for the watchdog now runs and reboots two times before declaring execution complete.

Question, does this option need to be disabled when running applications that haven't been loaded with watchdog timer code (code for initialising and refilling the WDT timeout timer) or can this now be left enabled and will only operate if the watchdog is properly configured in the application?
