&lt;p&gt;There is a&amp;nbsp;&lt;a title="RAM Retention Example" href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/com.nordic.infocenter.sdk5.v15.3.0/ram_retention_example.html?cp=5_1_4_6_30"&gt;RAM Retention Example&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;in the SDK. If you are using softdevice, you either have to disable the softdevice before writing to the POWER registers or use the softdevice API&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/com.nordic.infocenter.s132.api.v6.1.1/group___n_r_f___s_o_c___f_u_n_c_t_i_o_n_s.html#ga9f1c3f64a4c56f2f6109e214cac02912"&gt;sd_power_ram_power_set&lt;/a&gt;().&lt;/p&gt;
