so using the pre compiled .hex files and the connection via the debug ports, i was able to set up 5 Raspberry pi's to link to the one which was set as the bridge, but I am unable to see the bridge on nRF Mesh, and once i connect to it via "nRF Connect" it disables all the macros and i am unable to alter any of the nodes, is there a way of fixing this on the bridge unit?, if i press the button on the bridge all the nodes toggle a white light.

You need to use a 10 pin SWD cable & connect it to the debug out port on a nRF51 or nRF52 DK (located in the top left of the DK).

Hi Bjorn,

Am i able to load the .hex files without a cabled connection?, if not what cable is required as the micro USB charges but does not transfer data.

Have you tested the precompiled hex files provided in the github link? That should work out of the box. Then, take a look at this youtube video to see how to setup the mesh network.

Yea, I gave that one a shot, when it asks you to extract and run the setup_sdk.bat file, it just throws errors, and later you are asked to download thingy_node, thingy bridge and simple thingy, which cannot be found in the previously downloaded documents and source code, and they don't supply the path for downloading the files online

I don't have much experience with mesh, but have you looked at this repository? Sounds like you are doing kind of the same thing.
