 i am using the nrf52dk and want to program a selfmade breakout board which includes the BMD-340-ar Bluetooth module from rigado. 
 I use Segger Embedded Studio and the nrf52 sdk for programming.

&lt;p&gt;Yes, i have tried both. With and without external voltage supply for my board. Both times without success.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Have you remember to power your custom board? The custom board needs to be powered externally, it will not get any power from the debug pins.&lt;/p&gt;
