Yes. I am also getting this error. Very annoying - sometimes it works, but mostly not. It all started when I was developing using the usbd_cdc_acm. Seems to have mucked up my nRF52840 DK.

It would be excellent if Nordic would look into this issue further ... we can't be the only ones!

I'm having same issue. My boards programmed once but subsequent programming throws above error. Here is the log of nrfjprog:

>nrfjprog -v

Have you tried re-soldering the SB41?
