&lt;p&gt;There was a permission issue with an earlier version of nrfjprog, but that one was fixed two years ago. I assume that you have been installing the latest version, e.g. v10.2.1 (part of &lt;a href="https://www.nordicsemi.com/Software-and-Tools/Development-Tools/nRF-Command-Line-Tools/Download#infotabs"&gt;nRF Command Line Tools&lt;/a&gt; with same version number.)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As part of the installation process, you get asked about installing J-Link V6.44e. It is important to accept this as well, as the J-Link software from Segger is what communicates with the programmer MCU on our DK.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Can you check that the install directory of nrfjprog is in the &amp;quot;path&amp;quot; environment variable? Standard location for 64 bit windows is &amp;quot;C:\Program Files\Nordic Semiconductor\nrf-command-line-tools\bin&amp;quot;. You can also check that the following files are all present in that directory:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Can you run the nrfjprog command with the &amp;quot;--log&amp;quot; option added at the end, then provide the resulting log file (named &amp;quot;log.log&amp;quot;)?&lt;/p&gt;
