There are several nrf_soc.h, depending on the softdevice used.

Since you seem to be using nRF52840, I assume that you're using a BLE project with SoftDevice S140, then the correct header location is:

components\softdevice\s140\headers\nrf_soc.h

Thank u Hakon Alseth. In my sdk example file nrf_soc.h there is no API named sd_temp_get.

Its in nrf_soc.h, an SVC API call to the softdevice.

Hi,

The TEMP peripheral is used for calibration of the RC oscillator, and is therefore a restricted peripheral when the softdevice is on.

Try using "err_code = sd_temp_get(&my_temp_var);" instead.
