I am working on a ble_app_uart sdk example thereby I can connect the bluetooth of nRf52840 to My mobile. I want to read the temperature and send it to my Mobile. So I am customize my ble_app_uart example so that I am used NRF_TEMP->TASKS_START

RE: Is there any conflict when NRF_TEMP->TASKS_START = 1; is used in ble_app_uart??

Thanks alot Hakon Alseth.

RE: Is there any conflict when NRF_TEMP->TASKS_START = 1; is used in ble_app_uart??

There are several nrf_soc.h, depending on the softdevice used.

Since you seem to be using nRF52840, I assume that you're using a BLE project with SoftDevice S140, then the correct header location is:

components\softdevice\s140\headers\nrf_soc.h

The TEMP peripheral is used for calibration of the RC oscillator, and is therefore a restricted peripheral when the softdevice is on.

Try using "err_code = sd_temp_get(&my_temp_var);" instead.
