Thanks for the comment, Dmitry. I would have expected it to work partially at least. But I don't think it's worth spending time looking into this now when we have production silicon available as you indicated.

Hi,

52840 Engineering A does not work with coded PHY, even at low level (with manual programming of RADIO registers). I think there's some issue not described in errata. Don't waste your time, take a production chip.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that when I program the Preview DK in Central Scanner mode (using Coded Phy) it works fine, and it also works fine when using 1 MBPS PHY( both Central and Peripheral), it only doesn't work in Peripheral Mode when using Coded Phy

Hi,

s140 v6.x.x is not compatible with eng. rev. A (it does not apply old errata workarounds) see the compability matrix (link). I would recommend you to get the nRF52840 DK if you need a DK for development.

I don't have Production Engineering A chip, I only have engineering C chips on our custom board. On this custom board everything works fine.

I have checked the Errata for A, I did not find anything interesting that could result in such a behavior.

So what happens if you use a production DK with a production chip?

Have you checked the errata for early boards and early chips ... ?
