It could be that you have accidentally deleted or overwritten the certificates. If that's the case this post shows how you can recover them.

I'm also experiencing this on my device after I removed it from nrfcloud and are trying to re-activate it.

I get this message, and then the device reboots and it all repeats.

Do I have to do anything to be able to re-connect my device to nrfcloud?

This might be a case of a bug that has been witnessed a lot lately. It's being worked on to fix it.

Hi Richard

Describe my operations in more detail.

1. Person A activated the iBASIS SIM at his nrf cloud account. => OK. Can connect.

2. Person A deleted the iBASIS SIM at his nrf cloud account. => OK.

3. Person B activated the iBASIS SIM of person A at his nrf cloud account. => OK. Can connect.

4. Person B deleted the iBASIS SIM at his nrf cloud account. => OK.

5. Person B activated the iBASIS SIM again at his nrf cloud account.

=> Failed. nrf_cloud_connect failed: -111. nrf could apps refused the connection. I cannot find a

way to solve this problem.

I tried just now and it worked fine. Are both cards registered on nRF Cloud? Have you altered the on board certificates?

Did you try changing a activated SIM card at DK board? Everything is ok?

I got error as below at UART dump when my DK tried to connect nRF Cloud. nRF Cloud refused it.

nrf_cloud_connect failed: -111

Did it allow to change SIM card at DK board after registering the device at nRF Cloud?
