BLE 5 is defined to be backwards compatible with 4.2.

thank you for the reply.

We actually do not need to have any BLE 5.0 feature, but a company that produces devices that will connect to our devices, will not provide BLE 4.0 devices anymore. They will provide BLE 5.0.

Because of that, we have to move to 5.0.

If i understart correctly, we do not need to change anything in our code then.

Is it right?

Because just about everything "BLE 5" is optional, that is essentially meaningless!

Note that nRF52832 does not support Coded PHY.
