LEDs doesn't lighting up in both mode(bootloader mode and general mode). I think it's completely dead. It was bricked only after a day i received it, and it seems like you won't be able to solve the problem i have without seeing the product itself. I would like to know the terms of your repair service as well as your replacement terms.

Is any of the LED's lighting up when you plug it in, or is it completely dead?

Did you try to hold down the reset button to see if the drive appears? It is the button located on the side. Look at the picture here: developer.mbed.org/.../, it is the button called "IF BOOT/RESET"

If you hold down the reset button, any application that uses the mbed disk is stopped and the drive should be available to the computer.

Thank you for your reply. However, i couldn't find a MBED drive in diskmgmt.msc. In OS X, i couldn't find a MBED drive in /Volumes/ folder too. Or... can circuit in chip burned?

edit: As you said, I remember that format didn't successfully done. But the dongle was bricked immediately after formatting.

I tried to reproduce the error by formatting the drive, but I was not able to since there is some protection on it to prevent it. Are you sure you successfully formatted the drive, and that it is the problem? In this thread it looks like formatting the drive is a solution on how to restore the MBED drive anyway.

In windows 7, go to "Start -> Run" and type "diskmgmt.msc". Does the drive show up in the list? Make sure a drive letter is assigned to it. If you messed up the partition on the drive, you can use SDformatter to restore the drive to its original state as described in this thread
