It is designed for cellular and GPS communication.</p> <p>The development kit may specify 2.4GHz (for BLE) communication but that isn&#39;t provided by the nRF9160 SiP, that is provided via the on-board nRF52840.</p> <p>What is it exactly you are trying to ping (i.e. internet router, cellular network, random internet IPs) and how were you planning to interface with the nRF9160 kit?</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
