The RTOS isn&#39;t embedded in the SoftDevice. There is a <a href="http://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF51_SDK/doc/7.1.0/s110/html/a00014.html">scheduler</a>, but there&#39;s an example of using a SoftDevice without it.</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
