I'm in the process of designing my first prototype with the nRF9160 SiP. For the LTE antenna sub-circuit, I simply want to replicate (as much as possible) Nordic's reference design for the nRF9160 DK v0.85.
My question is therefore the following

RE: What is the LTE antenna trace width used on the nRF9160 version 0.85?

Your welcome and have a great day!

Best regards,
Kaja

RE: What is the LTE antenna trace width used on the nRF9160 version 0.85?

Hello Kaja,

Thank you for the prompt reply (as well as for the valuable information)!

I am marking this question as "answered", but I may come back later with my schematic and layout (as you are proposing) if I feel the need.

Thanks again. Have a great day. A+ 🙂

The width of the track is 0.2 mm, but you have to choose your width of the track based on your pcb and design.

If you want me to do a review of your design as well, you can upload the schematic and layout.

Best regards,
Kaja
