Hello, I was able to program nrf52840 dongle through nrfconnect programmer using development kit's debug out port by following this article: https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/index.jsp?topic=%2Fug_nrf52840_dk%2FUG%2Fnrf52840_DK%2Fhw_debug_out.html&cp=3_0_4_7_9

I made these changes:

Cut SB40 bridge on the dev kit
Shorted SB47 bridge on the dev kit
Removed the USB power supply on the dongle
Shorted SB1 bridge on the dongle
Cut SB2 bridge on the dongle

I didn't see that you update the screenshot. Please try using nrfjprog.exe and do a readcode or eraseall and send us the log/screenshot

You can also program direct from your IDE - eg, Segger Embedded Studio (SES).

Hi Vipul,

Could you have a screenshot of step 3 ? I would need to know which exact nRF Connect app you are using to test.

Note that when you use nRFConnect Programmer, you should connect to the Jlink serial number associated to the Development Kit, not the dongle.

You can also use nrfjprog.exe to access the dongle (via the DK)

Nrfconnect application is not able to read the memory of nrf52840 on dongle.

And dongle gets into programming mode as can be seen in the image below.

What, exactly, do you mean by that?

Do you get any error messages?
