This is the wrong branch of the repository, you are supposed to be on the branch pca20035_to_master. Did you try to follow the commands I posted earlier? That should be the easiest way :)

I pull down the git from

joakimtoe/fw-nrfconnect-nrf

then, tried asset_tracker, but i got error:

sched_priq.h: No such file or directory

Hello!

Did you fetch the pull request code correctly before building and flashing? It can be done with the following commands(inside <ncs_path>/nrf):

git fetch origin pull/943/head:new_branch

git checkout new_branch

git pull

west update

The new_branch can of course be a name of your choosing.

Just for info: the modem prevents downgrading of it's firmware, so it will fail if you previously have upgraded to a newer release.

Hello again!

The newest modem firmware have support for real GPS data, so you should definitely update, regardless of your NCS version.

Furthermore it's true that ncs_v1.0.0 doesn't support real GPS in the asset_tracker, but this is also true for ncs_v1.0.0_rc4.

You should check out this pull request for NCS. It's the only example I can find where asset_tracker uses real GPS data.

I am testing ncs_v1.0.0_rc4 - I want to get the real position when I run asset_tracker. With ncs_v1.0.0, the positions are not my 🙂

I can confirm that this fails on my DK aswell. Is it any reason you're not using the newest modem firmware available? It can be found at this location.
