But it is possible to start a low energy advertisement from the nRF Connect app on android. Just select the &quot;advertiser&quot; tab once you have opened the app, then click the &#39;+&#39; button to create a new advertisement configuration.&nbsp;</p> <p>That said, it&#39;s&nbsp;usually the phones that have the GAP central role. I&#39;d suggest that you consider using the peripheral role for the Devkit if possible. It&#39;s usually more power-efficient.</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
