I am currently using an AndroidOne along with the nRF Connect app on both my PC and the smartphone. I am trying to get the phone to connect to my DevKit. I am currently advertising the phone, yet I am unable to find the device listed when scanning

RE: Androidone won't connect to nRF52840-DK

Hello,

The nRF connect apps will only discover Bluetooth low energy devices, so that is probably why you can't see the phone. But it is possible to start a low energy advertisement from the nRF Connect app on android. Just select the "advertiser" tab once you have opened the app, then click the '+' button to create a new advertisement configuration.

That said, it's usually the phones that have the GAP central role. I'd suggest that you consider using the peripheral role for the Devkit if possible. It's usually more power-efficient.
