I am trying to used the WINC1500 Wifi module with the nRF9160 DK but I am not getting any data back from the module.
I am using the module

Yes, the module uses SPI. I have other sensors on my design which also use SPI and these are working fine. I hoped the only change i would have needed was to update the overlay file with the new slave select pin.

I was hoping someone else had used this particular module and maybe there was something else I had to change

Regards

As I understand the WIFI module would interface with the nrf9160 through SPI (?).

So you would need to use an overlay file similar to this one: https://github.com/Rallare/fw-nrfconnect-nrf/blob/nrf9160_samples/samples/nrf9160/spi/nrf9160_pca10090.overlay

You can look at the default settings on how an overlay file can look in: ncs\zephyr\boards\arm\nrf9160_pca10090\nrf9160_pca10090_common.

This is described in detail in the NCS tutorial

Best Regards,
Martin L.
