&lt;p&gt;Usually when refering to embedded SIM (eSIM) we talk about a MFF2 form factor. If so, you can use the footprint used in the DK and follow the schematics in section 5.11 in the nRF91 DK user guide. You need lines SIM_1V8, SIM_RST, SIM_CLK, SIM_IO and GND to send data back and forth between the nRF9160 and the eSIM.&lt;/p&gt;
