Hey,

When reading the RSSI values in different orientations there is not much of a change (2 or 3dBm).But the height (tag) matters is that how the modules behaves?

What is the best approach to get the average of the RSSI values?

what changes need to be done in ble_adv_report?

how much should be the advertising and scanning interval and window?

Hi

I have implemented the function RSSI start and get respectively.

But the code flow does not pass through is_uuid_present in the ble_evt_handler , case BLE_GAP_EVT_ADV_REPORT:

on the peripheral i have peripheral/ble_beacon

central :app_ble_uart

is it that the scanner is not able to get the uuid of the peripheral

I generally use PuTTY, but any regular COM terminal should be usable, like Termite, etc.

This case is very similar to yours and explains how to implement RSSI printing from peripheral to a BLE/UART central. The sd_ble_gap_tx_power_set() function allows you to set the TX power per connection. For more info on TX power settings, please see this thread.
