&lt;p&gt;If you read the full blog post, there is a link to Google&amp;#39;s root certificate and an explanation on how this works. Root certificates aren&amp;#39;t created by the user, but retrieved from the given CA, in this case Google.&lt;/p&gt;

The Kconfig file should look like this where you need to insert for instance your Google Cloud project name in the second line.&lt;/p&gt;
