Are you using the Programmer app? Or the BLE app? Have you tried with the latest v3.2.0 nRF Connect for Desktop?

Update: This may be related to MSD. You can open up JLink Commander, write in this command:

MSDDisable

& then power cycle the chip to see if this solves the issue. MSD needs to be disabled on both Linux & Mac. See this link for more info.

A colleague of mine has reported the same issue on Linux. An internal ticket has been created. Will keep you updated when I know more.

I am using a DK with nRF52832, PCA10040. I am using Segger Embedded Studio as IDE.

Which DK are you using? I can try testing it out on my side to see if it works or not.

Yeah, I tried version 3.1.0. It is working. But there is an error "Error occured when opening port. Errorcode: NRF_ERROR_TIMEOUT (0xd)".

I believe there is an update to nRF Connect for Desktop v3.1.0. Could you please install that version & test it out. Do you still get the issue?
