&lt;p&gt;The nRF52840 has a SWD interface and dedicated SWD pins that should be connected to the debugger. On our DK we use a&amp;nbsp;&lt;span&gt;ATSAM3U2C that has debugging support and USB. I can&amp;#39;t see that the FTDI has any debugging capabilities (it&amp;#39;s only a USB to UART bridge) , are you going to connect the debugger to the FTDI? if yes, on which side?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
