I've been though some power profiling investigation of my application and incorporated the solutions discussed and here and the hardware solution discussed here but I am using a 1Meg Ohm resistor between the VDD rail and the GPIO PIN. The PIN is

RE: Where's the leak?

Thank you Stian

RE: Where's the leak?

Yes, the coin cell on the DK is powering the Atmel chip (Jlink) an lots of other components, so I think the base current is a couple of milliamps, and will drain the coin cell quite fast.

The measurements you get from the PPK seems to be good, and you can trust them. You can also double check with this calculator: https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/nordic/power

If you want to power only the nRF52, not the whole DK, you can check out my post here: https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/20023/how-to-power-the-nrf52-chip-as-standalone-without-the-dk

RE: Where's the leak?

I'm getting a 2.88V drop over the 1Meg Ohm resistor giving a calculated current of 2.88uA.
