&lt;p&gt;We allocate 32kB of flash memory to the &lt;span&gt;secure_bootloader_ble_s112_pca10040 (not the __debug configuration).&lt;/span&gt;&amp;nbsp;Maybe I&amp;#39;m misunderstanding your question, but note that the bootloader is placed at the end of the flash, and SES simply&amp;nbsp;displays everything the comes before as used.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Build output if we removed the .reserved_* section from the flash_placment.xml to only see flash consumed by the bootloader:&lt;/p&gt;
