I had the same issue this morning when a made a fresh toolchain installation on a new pc. Your advice Didrik fixed it for me. Thx!

Hi.

We have found a bug with west version 0.6.1. Please run the following to update to the newest version (0.6.2) and then try west update again.

pip3 install west --upgrade

Can you run

git rev-parse HEAD

in the nrfxlib folder?

And send the content of ncs/nrfxlib/nrf_security/CMakeLists.txt?

Yes, I've run west update, and to make sure I also ran it after reading your comment.
Still I get the same error. There is a mbedtls folder in the ncs folder.

Just to make sure, did you also run "west update" after changing the tag?

Do you have a mbedtls folder in your ncs folder?

Which tag are you on?

It is recommended to use the v1.0.0 tag, not master.

If you are not on v1.0.0, please try and see if that works (remember to run west update).

You can find the steps of how to change tag in the Getting Started Assistant.
