&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;If you only have the&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://www.u-blox.com/en/product/nina-b1-open-cpu"&gt;U-blox NINA-B111-04B chip&lt;/a&gt; and not the &lt;a href="https://www.u-blox.com/en/product/evk-nina-b1"&gt;EVK-NINA-B1 evaluation kit&lt;/a&gt;,you have to use an external debugger to program it.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;If you take a look at the datasheet for &lt;a href="https://www.u-blox.com/sites/default/files/NINA-B1_DataSheet_%28UBX-15019243%29.pdf"&gt;U-blox NINA-B111-04B &lt;/a&gt;, you can read the following :-)&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;You can use SDK 15.3 and SoftDevice S132, download these &lt;a href="https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF5_SDK/nRF5_SDK_v15.x.x/nRF5_SDK_15.3.0_59ac345.zip"&gt;here&lt;/a&gt;. Find a suiting firmware and flash it.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;I don&amp;#39;t know what firmware u-blox uses, you have to ask on the u-blox forum.&lt;/p&gt;
